🌳 Feature story: Planting profits and biodiversity, with a 100-year promise

EcoTree blends forestry, biodiversity, and financial return—offering forests that are legally protected for a century, while returning profits to investors from selective timber harvest.

Highlights:

  • Projects across France, Germany, Denmark, and the UK
  • Over 200 biodiversity initiatives
  • Detailed carbon and biodiversity reporting for CSRD
  • Publicly available methodology and project reports

“Transparency is key,” says Louise. “We want to show what’s really happening on the ground—from the soil to the species.”

💪 Success story: Super Wood stronger than steel nears launch

InventWood is weeks away from launching the world’s first mass-produced Super Wood—a densified timber that’s:

  • 10x tougher than natural wood
  • Class A fire-rated and resistant to rot and pests
  • Stronger than steel by weight
  • Naturally rich in tone—like walnut or ipe

Using cellulose nanocrystals and compression chemistry, this breakthrough could reduce reliance on tropical hardwoods and cut the carbon footprint of buildings.

“We’re starting with skin applications,” says CEO Alex Lau, “but our goal is to replace the bones of buildings.”
